About the Project EmpowerU
Welcome to EmpowerU – We are excited to invite young trainers from Germany and France to our participatory project. 30 people will take part in an inspiring binational training programme to develop their skills as volunteers in the educational field.
Through interactive workshops and barcamp formats, the trainers, aged 18 – 27, will have the opportunity to develop and deepen their skills in a cross-border training programme. During the 4 days of cooperation and exchange, the participants will not only receive support from experts, but will also contribute their own competences, thus enriching the programme in a participatory way and also entering into an intercultural dialogue with their peers. The expertise acquired here can be integrated into educational work in the long term, as it will be published and reproduced in digital form so that even more people can benefit from them.
We will organize one preparatory online session and then meet in Calais for a joint event. EmpowerU is an incredible opportunity to improve the way of facilitating workshops and to connect with like-minded trainers.
